Mönchengladbach: Information & key figures

The allure of Mönchengladbach.

Mönchengladbach is regenerating itself; structural change is in full swing. The city used to be not much more than a textiles city, but now there is a healthy and wide-ranging mix of sectors here.

With over 262,000 inhabitants, Mönchengladbach is the regional metropolis of the Lower Rhine region.

This vitality is reflected in numerous projects.
Here are three examples:

The Nordpark is a model of success: the park round the Borussia and hockey stadiums is now being expanded by another prime business park with a surface area potential of 47.5 hectares.

The Regiopark in the south of the city was developed in 2007 and offers excellent conditions, particularly for the logistics sector. When the expansion is complete, the Regiopark will provide 120 hectares of land.
The new retail and services center as well as other city-center developments enhance the appeal of the heart of the city.

The many projects implemented in the last two years are tangible proof that the city of Mönchengladbach is on an up-and-coming city. As such, there are numerous interesting investment possibilities for project developers and investors in the future too.
