Inter-municipal commercial zone: A project for the future right next to Europe's largest construction site...
An inter-municipal commercial zone (about 15.3 ha, mostly industrial space) of the municipalities Grevenbroich and Rommerskirchen is currently in planning. It will be situated close to the brown coal power plants with optimized plant engineering (2 & 3), which RWE is currently building in Grevenbroich-Neurath in line with current global standards.
A greenhouse park covering about 33 ha overall will also be built beside this zone. The first phase of construction will take place in autumn this year with an initial production surface area of about 15 ha.

Neuss-Düsseldorf ports: Strong partners for the economy and the region
