Siempelkamp / ATR Industrie-Elektronik

The trans-Alaska pipeline transports crude oil from Prudhoe Bay in the North over a distance of almost 1,300 km to the ice-free port of Valdez in the Prince William Sound in the South. Pipelines like these, which have to brave extreme weather conditions, are produced on metal forming presses from the Krefeld machinery and plant manufacturer Siempelkamp. Its subsidiary ATR Industrie-Elektronik GmbH contributes the switchgear cabinet technology to the pressing concept.
